MyCampus Cancellation and Refund Policy
Effective October 7, 2026
This Policy covers MyCampus LLC purchases through joinmycampus.com. Paid terms apply only when you purchase an offer. Checkout identifies the price, service and billing frequency. Mandatory cancellation, refund, payment-dispute and other consumer rights take priority over this Policy.
1. Free service and one-time purchases
Free posting requires no payment card and does not automatically become paid. Submissions accepted as free stay free if campus pricing changes. A new charge, including to a saved payment method, requires your affirmative purchase at the displayed price.
A one-time purchase creates one charge, not a subscription. Its price and included service are shown before purchase.
2. Monthly subscriptions and cancellation
Subscriptions renew monthly at the disclosed price until canceled. Before purchase, we show the recurring amount, billing frequency, cancellation terms and offer conditions, obtain your affirmative agreement and provide a confirmation you can keep.
Cancel through your account's subscription-management option or support@joinmycampus.com, including if you cannot access your account. We may reasonably verify your identity but do not require a sales conversation.
Cancel before the next renewal to stop that charge. We confirm cancellation, stop future renewals and ordinarily keep access available through the paid period. A support delay does not make you responsible for a renewal that your timely request should have stopped.
Account deletion cancels active MyCampus subscriptions and ends access. Post withdrawal, Instagram removal, logging out or stopping texts does not cancel a subscription. Account deletion does not automatically create a refund; the rules below apply.
3. Subscription refunds
Except where required by law or stated below, subscription fees are not prorated or automatically refunded because you did not use the service or forgot to cancel.
We review duplicate, incorrect, and unauthorized charges and refund amounts that should not have been charged. We refund charges caused by a MyCampus billing error or failure to honor a timely cancellation request.
Support may offer a goodwill refund for the most recent monthly renewal when you have not used any paid benefit after that renewal. This is discretionary and does not limit refunds required by law or owed because of our error.
If an eligible post submitted under your subscription remains unpublished after the 14-day publication period and you received no paid benefit during the affected billing period, contact support@joinmycampus.com to request a refund for that period. Once your post has been published on the MyCampus website, Instagram or an available MyCampus app, we do not offer a discretionary refund merely because you no longer want the subscription. This does not remove a remedy owed for a promised service we failed to provide, an incorrect charge, or another refund required by law.
If we permanently end your paid access for reasons unrelated to a violation by you, we will stop future renewals and refund the unused portion of your prepaid subscription period.
If MyCampus permanently stops operating, we will cancel all MyCampus subscriptions and stop future subscription charges. Any refunds owed for prepaid service we do not provide will be handled as required by applicable law.
Instagram availability depends on Meta. If an account we operate is restricted or suspended, we will make reasonable efforts to restore access, but cannot guarantee recovery. An Instagram interruption does not automatically cancel your MyCampus subscription or entitle you to a refund while we continue providing the subscription's other material benefits. You may cancel future renewals at any time. This does not limit remedies required by law if we fail to provide the service you purchased.
4. Subscription prices and notices
New-customer offers may change. A continuously active subscription stays at its existing price unless we specifically change that subscription in accordance with this section. If you cancel or your subscription lapses and later subscribe again, the offer then available applies.
Before increasing an existing subscription's price, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice through a legally permitted communication channel and any additional notices or consent required by applicable law. Notices explain the new price, when it begins, and how to cancel. We will not apply an increase without a working method to deliver the promised and legally required notices. We provide an annual subscription reminder stating the service, recurring amount, billing frequency and how to cancel, together with any other renewal or material-change notices required by law. Required billing notices are separate from marketing messages. Email is optional; notices use an available, legally permitted communication channel.
Where New York law applies, before charging an increased price we will either obtain your affirmative consent to the increase or allow you to cancel for at least 14 days after the increased charge and receive a prorated refund for the remaining paid term. Any additional rights under applicable law remain available.
5. Publication timing and one-time post refunds
A complete, eligible paid submission must first be published on an included network channel within 14 calendar days. Subscriber posts usually take 1–3 days; delays outside our reasonable control may extend this to 14 days. Missing required information or usable photos delays the start; internal review alone does not restart the clock. Any faster guarantee in your offer remains binding.
Standard publication is complete when the approved post goes live on at least one included channel: the website, a participating Instagram page or an available MyCampus app. Every-channel or specific-channel placement is guaranteed only if expressly sold. A draft, review or queue entry is not publication. Additional placements expressly promised remain owed.
To stop a pending one-time post, contact support@joinmycampus.com. Sending a request does not confirm cancellation or guarantee that publication will stop. If we complete cancellation before first publication, we refund the purchase in full, even after human review. Correctly delivered publication does not qualify for a discretionary change-of-mind refund. You may still request website removal. Mandatory cancellation and refund rights remain available.
Good-faith mistakes, such as missing information or an unusable photo, receive an opportunity for correction. Deliberately abusive or deceptive submissions violating our rules may be rejected without a discretionary refund. Contact support to contest an incorrect moderation decision. Required refunds remain available.
If an eligible one-time paid post remains unpublished after the 14-day period, contact support for a refund of that purchase. You do not have to accept credit. Remedies for an undelivered expressly promised placement remain available.
After correct publication, a later Instagram restriction, suspension or account loss does not by itself qualify for a discretionary refund. We do not promise permanent availability or particular reach. This does not excuse an incorrect publication, missing purchased duration or other owed benefit, or a required refund.
6. Unlimited personal posting and abuse
Subscriptions include unlimited legitimate personal posts across participating schools, including reuse of your bio and photos. Unusual volume may trigger review, but an undisclosed numerical threshold alone does not justify an extra charge or denial of a legitimate post.
We may reject abusive submissions or restrict access under the Terms and Community Guidelines. Where lawful, violations do not entitle you to a refund for the affected service. Required refunds remain available, and terminating paid access stops future renewals.
7. Requesting help and payment disputes
Email support@joinmycampus.com with enough information to locate your account or purchase and explain the issue. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details. We may request reasonable verification and relevant purchase information. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible; the time for funds to appear depends on the payment provider.
You may contact us to resolve a billing issue, but contacting us first is not a condition of exercising rights with your bank, payment provider, or a regulator. While a payment dispute is reviewed, we may temporarily restrict the related paid benefit where reasonably necessary. We will not prevent cancellation or withhold a refund otherwise required by law because you made a good-faith complaint or dispute.
8. Legacy subscriptions
Legacy subscriptions billed by Slammed U LLC, College Real LLC, Berkshire Holdings LLC or another original seller retain their applicable contractual record. This Policy does not automatically replace those terms, transfer historical financial responsibility or establish acceptance of a new contract.
MyCampus provides centralized support, including identifying the seller and routing cancellation or billing requests. The original seller remains responsible for applicable legacy charges, refunds and disputes. Contact support@joinmycampus.com for help.
