MyCampus Terms of Service
Effective October 7, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the MyCampus website at joinmycampus.com and the student accounts, profiles, post submissions, public feed, campus posting services, and purchase flows operated by MyCampus LLC ("MyCampus," "we," "us," or "our"), together the "Service."
1. Agreement and eligibility
When you affirmatively accept these Terms to begin a draft, create an account, or use another part of the Service, you agree to them and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. Our Community Guidelines, Cancellation and Refund Policy, and, when applicable, SMS Terms also apply.
Incoming students, current students, transfer students, graduate students, and other student types may use the posting service. You must be at least 16 to create an account or submit a post. You must provide truthful information about your age. If you are below the age of legal adulthood where you live, you may use the Service only as permitted by applicable law, with any parent or guardian permission or involvement that law requires. These Terms do not waive any legal rights you have as a minor. If we learn an account holder is under 16, we will suspend new posting and other active account use. Contact support if you believe an age restriction was applied incorrectly.
2. MyCampus and legacy services
MyCampus is an independent, unofficial student platform. Unless we expressly state otherwise, it is not affiliated with or endorsed by a college, university, admissions office, housing office, or student organization. Campus names identify communities and posting destinations.
These Terms apply to MyCampus accounts and transactions accepted under them. An existing subscription billed by Slammed U LLC, College Real LLC, or Berkshire Holdings LLC remains with that original provider under its applicable contractual record. MyCampus provides centralized support, but rebranding or support assistance does not by itself transfer a legacy subscription, change its billing terms, or establish acceptance of these Terms. Contact support if you need help identifying the provider of a charge. Nothing here removes any rights you have against a responsible party under applicable law.
3. Drafts and accounts
You may prepare a bio and upload photos before creating an account. A draft does not authorize public posting, enroll you in messages or create a subscription. Create an account to complete a submission or purchase.
We use phone verification. Provide an accurate name, a number you are authorized to use, and truthful account and submission information. Email is optional, including at checkout. Protect account access and report suspected unauthorized use to support@joinmycampus.com.
Do not share, sell or transfer accounts, impersonate someone, misrepresent student status or evade restrictions. We do not routinely verify every user's identity, age or school affiliation.
4. Student posts and publication
The standard posting service is publication on at least one included MyCampus network channel: our website, a participating Instagram page or our app when available. Your submission and offer identify the included destinations. Selecting a school does not itself guarantee Instagram placement. We may publish to additional included channels, but every-channel or specific-channel placement is guaranteed only when the offer expressly says so. Upcoming features are not currently available.
Our team manually reviews submissions. Payment does not guarantee approval. We may hold, reject or remove content for reasonable safety, legal, rights, relevance, abuse or platform concerns. We may correct an obvious typo or crop or resize media; substantive changes require your request or approval.
Subscriber posts are usually published within 1–3 days after a complete, eligible submission. Delays outside our reasonable control may extend this to 14 calendar days. See the Cancellation and Refund Policy for timing and non-delivery remedies. We do not guarantee reach, engagement, friendship, housing, matching or other personal outcomes.
Before first publication, contact support to request an edit or withdrawal. A request does not confirm that publication has stopped, and we cannot guarantee stopping a pending post. Edits may require review. After publication, you may request removal of the website copy. Routine Instagram editing or removal is not guaranteed; we act on legally required privacy, safety and rights requests, including on accounts we operate.
Website posts do not automatically expire after one year. They may remain while your account is active, subject to removal requests, account deletion, moderation and law. We do not promise permanent hosting. Post dates and class years provide context for older introductions.
5. Your content and permissions
"User Content" means material you submit, including photos, captions, profile information, social handles, school and class-year information, interests, and reports. You keep ownership of your User Content.
You represent that you own or have the rights needed to submit the content and authorize its requested use, including required permissions from identifiable people shown in it and, where legally required, their parents or guardians. Group photos are allowed when these permissions are satisfied. This includes photographs that incidentally show someone younger than 16. Do not submit misleading content or material that violates another person's privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or other rights.
You grant MyCampus a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, format, crop, resize, and process your User Content as reasonably necessary to save your draft, review a submission, and operate the Service. When you submit a post for publication, this license also permits displaying, transmitting, and publishing the content you selected for that post to the publication destinations identified when you submit, including the selected campus destination, the MyCampus website feed and an available MyCampus app, as applicable. Preparing or abandoning a draft does not authorize public posting or promotional use. We may allow service providers and publishing platforms to exercise these rights only as needed for these purposes. Private reports and support submissions are not licensed for public posting or promotion.
After you withdraw or remove content, this service license continues only as needed to process the request and maintain legally permitted records and backups. Deleting your MyCampus account does not by itself revoke the limited permission to maintain Instagram posts you previously authorized for publication. This does not authorize new posts, unrelated uses or promotional reuse after deletion. A separate withdrawal of publication permission or removal request is handled under applicable law and the removal provisions below. The Privacy Policy explains retention and deletion.
6. Promotional use
Publishing your requested student post does not authorize promotional reuse. We ask separately for written permission identifying the content and intended uses, and confirmation that you are 18 or older and have the necessary rights. Permission is optional. We do not use identifiable content of anyone under 18 for promotion.
We use content only within the permission given. Permission for our unpaid social posts, website marketing or launch videos does not cover paid ads, testimonials, sponsor campaigns or investor materials unless expressly included. We do not need new permission for each placement already authorized.
Withdraw promotional permission through support@joinmycampus.com. We stop future use and remove existing promotional material from accounts and systems we control where reasonably possible. We cannot recover every independent copy. Applicable rights remain available.
7. Public visibility and third parties
Public posts may be seen, saved, copied, indexed, screenshotted, or shared by others. Avoid sharing information you do not want public. We can remove content from systems and accounts we control, but cannot guarantee removal of independently held copies or content from systems controlled by Meta, search engines, or other parties. This does not limit our legal removal duties or our responsibility to act on accounts we operate.
Third-party platforms and payment providers have their own applicable terms and privacy practices. Their availability and functionality may change.
8. Conduct and safety
Follow the Community Guidelines. Do not harass, threaten, exploit, dox, scam, impersonate, infringe rights, submit nonconsensual intimate content, sexualize minors, or use the Service unlawfully. Do not interfere with security, scrape or automate access without permission, manipulate posting queues, or evade moderation. These restrictions do not prohibit activity protected by applicable law.
We do not conduct background checks or guarantee another user's safety or truthfulness. Use reasonable care before sharing information or meeting someone. Contact local emergency services for an immediate threat.
9. Free and paid offers
Posting may be free by campus or during an introductory offer. A free offer requires no payment card and does not become a paid subscription automatically. If a campus becomes paid, accepted free submissions stay free; new purchases require the displayed price and your affirmative agreement. We do not charge a saved payment method simply because campus pricing changes.
Before purchase, the offer shows the price, included service, participating communities, applicable taxes and whether billing is one-time or recurring. Prices may vary by campus, cohort, promotion or time. You must be authorized to use the payment method.
The core subscription benefit is unlimited legitimate personal posting to any number of participating schools. There is no fixed monthly numerical allowance. Reusing the same bio and photos across schools is allowed. Unlimited use does not permit automation, commercial posting, spam, abusive repetition, fraud, resale, queue manipulation or evasion of moderation.
Unusual volume may prompt human review, but volume alone does not justify denying legitimate posts. We may verify, hold or reject abusive submissions or restrict accounts, with review available through support.
Additional plan features may be introduced, updated, replaced or discontinued. Matching is coming soon, not a current benefit. No release date is guaranteed unless stated in the offer. Changes remain subject to existing purchased commitments and Section 16.
10. Subscriptions, cancellation, and refunds
A monthly subscription renews at the disclosed price until canceled. Before purchase, we disclose the recurring price, billing interval, benefits and cancellation method. Cancel through your account's subscription-management option or contact support@joinmycampus.com. Cancellation stops future renewals and ordinarily leaves access through the paid period.
Active subscriptions keep their price unless changed with the notices and any consent described in the Cancellation and Refund Policy, including at least 30 days' advance notice of an increase. A canceled or lapsed subscription purchased again receives the current offer.
The Cancellation and Refund Policy explains confirmations, reminders, billing errors, refunds, post withdrawal and service interruptions. An Instagram outage alone does not automatically end billing while other material subscription benefits continue. Required refunds and remedies for undelivered purchased services remain available.
11. Communications
Requested verification codes, optional service texts and marketing have separate permissions, as explained in the SMS Terms. Providing a phone number or accepting these Terms does not authorize marketing. Marketing enrollment is optional and does not affect account creation, free posting or purchases. This enrollment does not include sponsored-offer texts or a separate automated messaging agent.
If you provide an email after a clear disclosure, we may send MyCampus marketing subject to applicable consent requirements. You can unsubscribe without stopping genuine transaction, security, legal or necessary account notices. See the Privacy Policy for details.
12. Reports and removal
Contact support@joinmycampus.com to report abuse, impersonation, privacy concerns, copyright concerns, or other rights violations. You do not need an account to report content. Include its location and enough information to identify the concern. Do not resend unlawful intimate images or child sexual abuse material.
For nonconsensual intimate images, including digital forgeries, use the notice and removal process in the Community Guidelines. We handle valid requests within applicable legal deadlines, including the 48-hour removal requirement where the TAKE IT DOWN Act applies, and make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies on the Service.
For copyright complaints, identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing content and its location, your contact information, why you believe the use is unauthorized, and your physical or electronic signature. Include a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or law, and a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, you are authorized to act for the rights holder. Support is a rights-complaint contact, not a representation that a DMCA agent is registered.
We may seek clarification and remove or restrict content. We terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances and review reports of mistaken removal through support. Statutory rights and procedures remain available where applicable.
13. Account deletion
Request account deletion at support@joinmycampus.com. After reasonable verification, we promptly disable access, cancel active MyCampus billing, and remove your profile, drafts and published student posts from the website and active systems. Limited legal, payment, fraud, dispute, consent, safety, security and backup records may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Deletion does not cancel a separately billed legacy subscription; ask support to help cancel it. Previously authorized Instagram posts may remain public. Routine editing or removal is not guaranteed, but you may include privacy, safety or rights-based removal requests with account deletion. We honor applicable duties on accounts and systems we operate and cannot guarantee deletion of independent copies.
14. Restrictions and termination
We may restrict or terminate use where we reasonably believe there is a violation, fraud, a payment problem, a safety risk, or a legal requirement. When appropriate, we will explain the reason and how to request review through support. We may act immediately or withhold particular details when needed for safety, security, legal compliance, or an investigation.
You may stop using the Service and cancel purchases as described above. Restricting an account does not override applicable cancellation or refund rights. If we discontinue a paid service, the Cancellation and Refund Policy and applicable law govern any undelivered benefits and remaining charges.
15. MyCampus intellectual property
MyCampus owns or licenses its software, branding, designs, and other Service materials. These Terms grant you permission to use the Service for its intended personal purposes. They do not transfer ownership of those materials or permit copying, sale, redistribution, or exploitation beyond what applicable law or our written permission allows.
16. Service changes and warranties
Features and participating communities may change. A change does not remove an obligation already owed for a paid purchase or a mandatory consumer right. Material changes to a paid offer will be handled with legally required notice, consent, cancellation, and refund rights.
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided as available, without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, third-party availability, or user outcomes. These statements do not override an express purchase commitment or a warranty or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Liability and legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, MyCampus is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the Service. Subject to the exceptions below, MyCampus's total liability arising from the Service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid MyCampus in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. They do not limit a required refund, a statutory remedy, or nonwaivable rights relating to privacy, personal injury, or consumer protection. Applicable law may give you additional rights.
18. Questions, disputes and governing law
Contact support@joinmycampus.com about a complaint or dispute. We investigate and correct problems where appropriate. Contacting us first is not a condition of exercising legal rights and does not shorten any deadline. You retain applicable bank and payment-provider dispute rights; these do not replace refunds or cancellation we owe.
These Terms do not require arbitration or waive available court, jury-trial or class-action rights. A support or bank-dispute decision does not automatically resolve a separate legal claim.
Wyoming law governs, subject to mandatory applicable law and nonwaivable consumer protections. MyCampus consents to courts with jurisdiction where the consumer resides; no exclusive Wyoming venue is imposed. This does not amend a separate agreement previously accepted with a legacy seller.
19. Changes to these Terms
We will identify an updated version and its effective date when we publish changes. We will provide notice of material changes and obtain affirmative acceptance where required. Changes do not apply retroactively to resolve an existing dispute or alter rights from a completed purchase without a valid legal basis. If you disagree with a change, you may stop using the Service and cancel as described above; mandatory rights remain available.
